More stories from different cultures

Here is Amari's piece of work, another story from a different culture!
Anansi and the water moccasin
On a fine looking day, Anansi was chilling in his cosy bed, in his lovely house. He was sipping his fresh, cool, pineapple soda whilst watching the warm, comfortable sun. Moments later, he decided to think about how plain his house was. He wanted it to be the best house in the world.
He wanted to steal the water moccasins scales, for decorations for his house. He was planning to trick the water moccasin into eating a lot of food, until he was so tired, he’d have to spend the night. When Anansi could steal his scales and decorate his plain house.
Anansi barked “water moccasin come to my house for dinner later”. The water moccasin replied “yes I would love to come to your house for dinner.” Hours later they went inside and Anansi started to feed and feed and feed the water moccasin until he soon fell asleep and Anansi started his mission and soon accomplished it.
The next morning, the water moccasin woke up and didn’t notice that his scales were long gone. Every time he slithered past someone they laughed. One person walked by and said “why don’t you check in the mirror.” So that’s what he did. All of a sudden Anansi heard a gigantic scream. Anansi dropped the scales and ran away as far as he could go.
The same day the water moccasin was shouting in anger searching for his scales. He unhappily said “I knew I shouldn’t have trusted Anansi!” On a high note, the water moccasin found his scales and enjoyed the rest of the warm, comfortable sunny day.
